A Nightly Parade of Miracles

“For those who believe in God, no explanation is necessary. For those who do not believe in God, no explanation is possible” – unknown

Each night, rain or shine, up to and sometimes over 20,000 “believers” participate in a candlelight prayer procession in Lourdes honoring the Blessed Mother.  In multiple languages, participants say the rosary and sing “Ave Maria.”  With candles raised as a salute to “Mary,”  the energy is a universal lighting bolt of love, healing and acceptance.

I believe each person is experiencing a miracle on some level.  For when the eyes are open to see God’s perfection, the sacred heart alive with the beat of pure love, and the ears attuned to the faint whispers of the universe  – the senses awaken to the miracle(s).  It’s a parade, a spectacle, a celebration of life’s eternal blessings.

It’s the month of the Blessed Mother.  Prayers Work.
