“Ah Ha” the Answer

December 12, 2011

Miracles & Blessings

That “ah ha” moment was when I grabbed the sacred water from Lourdes, France and put a sprinkle on my anxiety-ridden husband as he was leaving the house for an important presentation.  I couldn’t control his day or the outcome, but I could give him a little “wifey blessing” of support in gratitude for how hard he works to give us a beautiful life.  In that moment, I felt a little silly.  His giggle gave me joy inside, and I thought just perhaps this silly little “wifey blessing of support” might just help someone else too, as in that moment, my husband and I were connected to the Higher Good.

Prayers come in many forms.  From dreams to wishes, from a simple thought to a visual creation, all the way to “get down on the knees” and “Help Me God” please!

A prayer is defined as -

“- a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship; ”an earnest hope or wish” or “a beneficial thing for which one is grateful.”

A blessing is defined as -

” – a prayer asking for such favor and protection.”

Old Oak Tree by Lancashire Lass

I have no idea where this journey of blogging may bring me, I just have a deep sense, a feeling in my heart (not my head), that this is part of my life’s purpose.  It makes me nervous, a bit afraid, and at the same time, there is an unexplainable energy propelling me forward into the unknown.  My faith tells me the “ah ha” was part of the answer to my prayer.

As an acorn grows from a nut into an oak tree bringing delight, protection and hope, I dream entering the blogging sphere will become something beautiful too.  I hope you will join me on this journey with “PrayersWork.com”  Please stay for while and see it grow. A facebook share, a thumbs up like or a sweet tweet would be a blessing.

Wishing you the gift of an “ah ha” moment ,

Mary Ann

Dear Mary Ann, You are a blessing to many of us. Thank you for doing this.

This powerful verse came to my mind about you…

    James 5:16

    New International Version (NIV)

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
